Five inputs, an indicative market range — then post the same scope as an RFP and watch real quotes land inside it.
This free calculator estimates your smart contract audit cost from five inputs: chain and language, protocol type, codebase size in nSLOC (normalised source lines of code), TVL at launch, and launch stage. The output is an indicative market range built from real quotes closed through the Procur3 marketplace — not a rate card, and not one firm's price list.
Most audit cost calculators are built by audit firms, and they return that firm's price. That tells you what one vendor charges; it doesn't tell you what your audit should cost.
Procur3 is a neutral marketplace. We don't perform audits and we don't take payment for placement, so the range here reflects what teams across the market have actually paid. That matters because identical scopes routinely quote 3–5x apart between equally credible firms — pricing tracks each firm's utilisation, brand position and appetite for your category, not a market rate. Knowing the range before you talk to anyone is the difference between negotiating blind and negotiating informed.
| Protocol type | Approx. nSLOC | Price range | Typical timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| ERC-20 token (custom logic) | 200–500 | $1,000–$10,000 | 1–2 weeks |
| NFT collection (ERC-721/1155) | 500–1,500 | $3,000–$30,000 | 2–3 weeks |
| Staking / vault protocol | 1,000–3,000 | $5,000–$60,000 | 3–4 weeks |
| Governance / DAO system | 1,000–5,000 | $10,000–$80,000 | 3–5 weeks |
| Lending protocol or AMM | 3,000–8,000 | $15,000–$150,000 | 4–8 weeks |
| Cross-chain bridge | 5,000–15,000+ | $50,000–$500,000+ | 6–12 weeks |
These are market ranges, not quotes. Two things are missing from most budgets: the remediation review (a fix-verification pass, typically 10–20% of the base fee) and the fact that a firm's price moves with its current bench utilisation.

The calculator returns an indicative market range, the typical Procur3 award (roughly where competitive quoting lands), an estimated engagement duration, and the number of matched firms available to quote. It's deliberately a range, because there is no single market rate — the only way to know your number is competitive quoting.
The calculator answers what should this roughly cost. To answer what will it cost from firm X, post the same scope as an RFP on Procur3. Matched, vetted firms respond with real competitive quotes — usually within the hour — including price, timeline, team assigned and methodology.
Free for builders. No firm pays to be on Procur3, and no firm pays to reach you.
